Adrian and Richie talk about the album.
According to a note ( via Blabbermouth ), Thin Lizzy, Jimi Hendrix, Prince, Cream, Free , and Deep Purple were the main influences for the album.
“We’re very proud of this new album. It follows our debut and the EPs by focusing on collaboration in riffs, lyrics, harmonies, and vocals. There’s a Smith/Kotzen DNA now, and it’s definitely something we need to take on the road. I was pleased to work with my friend Jay Ruston on mixing the album, not to mention my wife Julia — who actually plays on White Noise , as well as four other tracks,” Kotzen stated.
“We’re like an extended family now. We have a sound and a vibe, and I don’t think many artists are doing what we do—sharing vocals and guitars. It takes me back to those classic bands like Humble Pie and Cream—which isn’t a bad place to start!” Smith commented.
